The UMANG (Unified Mobile Application for New-age Governance) app simplifies access to EPFO services for both employers and employees. From UAN activation to claim management, everything is now at your fingertips!

Key Features for Employees

  • View EPF passbook and contribution history

  • Raise claims for withdrawal or pension

  • Track claim status online

  • Link Aadhaar with UAN for seamless services

  • Apply for Jeevan Pramaan (digital life certificate)

How to Access

  1. Download UMANG App (Google Play / Apple Store)

  2. Register / Login using your mobile number

  3. Select EPFO Services

  4. Choose the required service (UAN, Passbook, Claims)

  5. Complete authentication (OTP / Aadhaar / Face Scan)

Important Update

From August 2025, all UAN activations must be done via Aadhaar-based Face Authentication on UMANG. Portal activation is no longer available.
